Executive Board Member:
As an Executive Board Member, you will be directly involved in the direction and operation of the Council.
Attend monthly meetings to discuss business operation and various activities the Council is involved in. You will have a vote in all matters necessitating input and feedback from the valued Board Member. Once a year, we will have a retreat to identify progress, future direction, and team building. A great group of people and we'd love to have a diverse representation!
As a BECC Partner, you will receive updates on the activities of the Council and attend the monthly BECC meeting which showcases different interesting presentations that have an impact on early childhood and the building a comprehensive system of care in Broomfield for families and children. This is an opportunity to be involved, enhance your understanding of early childhood programs and issues, and build your network!
Our Council consists of four different committees who work on events, activities, and programs for their designated domain (Early Care and Learning, Health and Wellness, Family Support and Engagement, and the BECC Summit). Each committee has a chair to help plan and guide the work. The work is based off of the strategic plan implemented every three years. Committee meeting times and locations are all varied. If interested in a particular committee, please let us know and we will connect you!
